Statement Of Purpose
One of the most unifying concerns of our
congregation is support for the State of Israel.
The Israel Action Committee provides a key
link between our community at Temple Beth
Torah and the people of Israel. The Committee
provides the congregation with relevant and
immediate information concerning Israel.
The Israel Action Committee educates the TBT
family and the broader community about issues
confronting Israel. The Committee does this
through sponsoring the Israel Bond Drive and
hosting cultural events and speakers that act as
an advocate for Israel. The Committee also
encourages our congregants to visit Israel,
purchase items made in Israel and to enjoy our
Jewish heritage.
