| Kol Nidre Appeal |
As we get ready for the High Holidays and a new year at Temple Beth Torah we are building on a successful year. TBT has continued to grow - ten new families joined our congregation. We celebrated holidays together - from the serious (Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur) to the fun (at the Hanukkah Family Breakfast and at the Purim Carnival.) Our children continue to be educated by our Hebrew school and our clergy. As always, family is the core of our congregation. In the past year, several generations gathered together at our Grandparent Shabbat and we got together socially at Sisterhood events, a Monte Carlo evening and a Mahjong Game night. And of course, TBT was always there for families to turn to when personal crises arose.
None of this is possible without our congregation supporting our Temple, donating both time and money. As at many Temples, the Kol Nidre Appeal is the largest fund raiser of the year.
The Kol Nidre appeal is of the utmost importance to the stability of the Temple.
It is at the High Holidays that we need to come together as a family and support the growth of our Temple. We respectfully ask all of our members pitch in and carry their fair share. Together we will manage the burden, ensure that the budget will be balanced, and that TBT will be able to continue its high level of services and programming that we have all grown to expect for our families and our children.
